The Juac Refuge is located at 1,905 m above sea level, in the middle of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, and can be easily reached from different directions on foot, by mountain bike or touring skis, thanks to its convenient location.
How to reach us:
Level: easy
You can reach our hut from Selva di Val Gardena in just over an hour via the Daunëi district, about half a kilometre from the village centre. If you drive here by car (you can park in the advertised parking spaces) or take the bus, you can reach our hut in about 30 minutes via the gentle forest path, which is also suitable for a stroller.
Level: medium to difficult
From Santa Cristina, there are two ways to reach our hut: you can walk either from the Col Raiser valley station towards Sangon Hut in just over 1 hour and 30 minutes or from the Col Raiser mountain station towards Regensburger/Firenze Hut in about an hour.
Level: medium
From Ortisei, you can get to our hut in around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Get to the Seceda mountain station, hike or cycle in the direction of the Regensburger/Firenze Hut and continue on to the Juac Refuge along a leisurely path through the forests and meadows.
In winter, we offer our guests a snowmobile pick-up service once a day. The pick-up point is always the same and isn’t far from the Col Raiser mountain station. Take the Col Raiser cable car, followed by the slope towards the Sangon Hut. Pass the Sangon Hut on the left and you’ll soon reach a small bridge. This is where we will pick you up.
Pick up time: 2:00 - 4:30 pm
Luggage: 1 piece of luggage per person
